San Francisco Performances will present a duo recital by pianist-composer Thomas Adès and pianist Gloria Cheng, a four-concert series by violinist Jennifer Koh and pianist Shai Wosner devoted to music by Beethoven and contemporary composers, and the local recital debut of Italian soprano Anna Caterina Antonacci as part of its 2015-16 schedule.

The season, announced by founder and president Ruth A. Felt, features a recital by mezzo-soprano Jamie Barton, including the West Coast premiere of a new song cycle by San Francisco composer Jake Heggie; two final appearances by the vocal quartet Anonymous 4 as part of its farewell tour; and recitals by pianist Igor Levit, cellist Amit Peled, and guitarist Alvaro Pierri.

“Bridge to Beethoven,” four programs by Koh and Wosner, will pair the older master’s 10 violin sonatas with recent works by Andrew Norman, Anthony Cheung and Vijay Iyer. The chamber series will include appearances by the Pavel Haas Quartet and the Quartetto di Cremona, and the dance series features return appearances by Sankai Juku and Company Wayne McGregor.
